Various cooking techniques, such as searing and stir-frying, are performed at temperatures in excess of 250°C. If you accidentally overheat your pan, even up to 450°C, no toxic fumes will be released and the coating will not blister or peel. The hard anodized surface interior and exterior means extra durability. An extra thick base enables perfect heat conduction and the heavy guage forged aluminium gives extra strength to the pan.
