Beautiful floral design from the world-renowned art and design museum's archives, this Cushioned Lap Tray is part of the V & A Museum Brompton Rose range. The 'Brompton Rose' design is taken from the textile and wallpaper archives of the V & A Museum. It is from wallpaper manufactured by Jeffrey & Co and dated 1874. Cushioned lap trays offer ideal support for tv dinners, snacks, hobbies and letter writing. Each of the Victoria and Albert Museum items has been interpreted using original material to create strong commerical surface patterns taken from the archives of the Victoria and Albert Museum. Inspiration has been drawn from various sources including traditional William Morris wallpapers, exotic far eastern silks and various rare and distinctive artefacts.
